With lazy days of summer gone, we now wake up to chilly mornings and shorter days. Several days ago Demetrye brought me a bouquet of my favorite flowers—lilies. I like flowers that are beautiful through simplicity: daisies, lilies, etc.
As the sun was going down I snapped an image of them, to remind myself of the summer during coming rainy months.

A couple of days ago we celebrated a couple more birthdays in our family–my sister and her b-day present–my nephew. It was a double-whammy.
Yaroslav is my mischievous angel. The little man behind him is another one of my nephews. He has never been shy in front of a camera.
I was trying to catch a mother-son moment, but Yaroslav was camera-shy…
but not for too long 
Apparently getting gifts is the best way to loosen up!
This is my adorable great-niece Vera. Isn’t she a cutie!!! Look at here eyes!
