Spending time with Younger Generation

A couple of weeks ago Demetrye and I were invited to spend some time with young ladies from Vancouver (WA) Church of Truth Church. The group is headed by my beautiful niece Anna and her handsome hubby Eddie. The weekend we visited with them, however, instead of having boys and girls in the same group, they were having great all-girl-time at Seaside, OR. I have to applaud Anna for all the work she is putting into investing her life into these wonderful teens. She herself is a mother of three AND has a full-time job, AND is a full-time student. She is also unbelievable in so many areas.
Demetrye and I were honored to meet 13 young ladies. We spoke to them about love and dating 
and then spend grand-ole-time eating delicious food Anna cooked up for the whole group (I am telling you she is amazing). Here are a few snapshots. 
Demetrye is always up to something. I cannot even try to understand what he was trying to do here…
But… one thing Demetrye is–he is irresistable, and especially his shiny bald head. It looks like the girls could not resist the temptation any more, and it was “rubbing Demetrye’s head” time. He normally does not like anyone touching his baldy, except for me that is, but he was all pleasantries and smiles with Victoria, who instigated the rest of the girl for to this type of “fun”.
We just visited with the girls again this Thursday while now the boys were away at the camp. And we fell in love with them even more.
Ladies, THANK YOU for opening your hearts to us. We LOVE you (and you remember the LOVE talk we had this week again ).
