She also has big blue eyes but when she was much younger (she just turned 60 y/o, 11-5), it was my job to brush all those curls . . and Carolyn did not like to have her hair brushed (sensitive scalp). A great way to learn patience as a child . . for me, yes?!? What I see in Marina's eyes is, simply, "Hi, there! I'm Marina, and I know how much I am loved." And indeed, she is, precious child. Reminds me of my little sister, Carolyn (Marina’s great-aunt).
