I am not kidding you I saw one last night :) !  Hubby and I ran out to Target and as we were pulling into the parking lot I saw this sign:

You might have guessed it–it’s a sign for SEARS with letter “S” blown out.

I am collecting weird signs like this.  One of the most memorable ones I had collected was a Shell Gas station sign with an “S” blown out.  Yep, that made it a HELL station :)  I will have to dig out that image from the archives.  I think there was a bar right next to it also :) .

Is it just me or have any one you come across gems like this one? :)

What a fabulous maternity session I had on Saturday!  I was ecstatic for the sunshine that came out.  The day before the session the skies were grey and I was praying that a miracle would happen.  My prayers were answered.

I met with Karen a few weeks back, chatting with her about her first pregnancy.  She was glowing from inside out.  She is one of those people that walks around with a smile on her face, at least it seemed to me that way.  I cannot imagine her being any other way.  We set the time for the session and decided to scout Columbus metro area for the location, being that I just moved here a couple of months ago, and Karen is not a native of Columbus OH either.  Then Karen told me about Breathing Space Yoga studio, where she works out.  It sounded like it was a match made in photographer heaven–land with a red barn, and a studio with a lot of natural light :) .  I scouted the location before the session and met the owner–gorgeous Gina, whose warm hospitality swept me off my feet. I was in love with what I saw!

I met Karen and Ryan, along with their happy family pup on Saturday on location.  They were more than amazing–a supermodel couple.  I ended up with too many favorite images!  Here are a few for you to enjoy.

I come from a very witty and frequentlysarcastic family.  If you are ever around us you have to be on your watch at ALL times… no kidding.  When I moved away to go to college 12 years ago I mellowed out and my approach to life changed a little.  I was up for an awakening when  I moved back to be near my family 2.5 years ago.  I tell you, I felt like I had to stop and catch my breath to keep up with our clan…  But they are as funny as they come.  Here is an example, if I recollect the whole story correctly.

My niece Luba got an electronic picture frame from one of her brothers, who then proceeded to buy a similar gift for his Mom.  To get him back Luba then also bought him a picture frame for his birthday as well… and made it super modern and classy :)

That’s my family for you :) .

She is sweet as honey, soft as a sugar plum and has a personality to keep ten adults on their tippy toes.  Blue eyed curly beauty :) Squeezable, huggable and wiggly–all in one.  She is my sister’s baby, she is my girl :)
