Hi! My name is Elena. I am a lifestyle photographer based in Columbus, OH. I serve Columbus, Westerville, Bexley, Worthington, Dublin and all Columbus Metro Area and Franklin county. I am also available for destination events.
Now, a little bit about ME! 
I am a woman in love! In love with the love of my life and in love with life.
I love being alive! I love people. I love being in the nature. I love seeing and making others happy. I love the sense of starting my life anew every single morning. I feel that I am given an opportunity every morning to write a better story and to correct past mistakes.
I love the smell of fresh air and the color of sunny blue sky. I love rain and snow [unless I have to drive in it, of course]. Spring is one of my favorite seasons–it makes me feel that everything is reborn, even myself, the senses are heightened; the hope for the future is renewed. I love capturing wonderful moments in our lives that can otherwise be forgotten, be it smiles and giggles, or tears and tantrums. That is why I have become a photographer.
I do not know if there is one way to describe my style, but I will try–contemporary, photojournalistic, clean, classic and explorative. Contemporary because I incorporate latest techniques; photojournalistic because I record events as they unfold, as much as possible, doing little directing and a lot of observing and recording events; clean because I prefer to concentrate on the subject rather than props or gimmicks, classic because I capture images in a way that I hope will be viewed the same way 20 years from now as they are today, and explorative… well, because there is no end to my artistic endeavor in learning new styles and techniques and incorporating them into images I take, and because no two people are alike–and I LOVE exploring special characteristics of each of my super beautiful subjects.
Why have I chosen to specialize capturing the lives of women? Well, for one because I am one, and I discovered that as I journey through each stage of my life I uncover something new and magical my life has to offer and how in return I have to grow and adjust, discovering new strengths and beauties placed by God in me. Each woman that I meet has special qualities, special strengths and very special beauty, characteristic only to her. Each one has her own story to tell. Some are just beginning to write their stories, some are in the middle of writing the novel of their life, and some are nearing a beautiful twilight of their years. But no two are alike. I want to be the silent witness behind my lens, of each stage of a woman’s life.
So now that you know about the person behind the camera, I hope you will present me with an opportunity to get to know you as well, and to provide you with the most valuable gift–the gift of memories of how beautiful and special you are.
