Today Alex (my nephew) and Tracy are celebrating their ONE year anniversary! Congratulations!!! Alex’s Mom and I conspired and prepared a surprise coffee table book for them. My sister and her husband are driving to Seattle now. What a surprise it will be!
Happy Anniversary!

Having lived in America for such a long time, at times, even the best of us tend to forget how it is to live in a place where human beings are deprived not only of their rights, food and dignity, but of their very lives; when they are forced to act like animals just to survive another day. At times it is good to stop and reflect on all the things and freedoms that we, as Americans, are blessed with and take for granted when most of humanity struggles to survive through another day, seeing their loved ones fade away through famines, violence and other forces that only human beings can inflict on each other.
