So, I blurted out a few days ago that I have some BIG news… It was funny that some of my family members thought it would be an announcement that I am pregnant… Well, I am not. The big news is that we are moving to WA in the next week and a half. We are almost all packed. We are excited and a bit nervous, of course. We can barely wait to start the next chapter in our lives…
So, since most of our family knows that we are moving by now, I guess the news is not so BIG any more… But I am excited regardless.
Since I don’t like to post without pictures, here are a few from tonight’s dinner I made for my sweetie. (The dishes don’t have any particular name, as I tend to make everything based on what I have in the fridge at the moment. But I can assure you that my pasta and tropical salad tasted great with a glass of grape cider. Just ask Demetrye…)

… and exhausted. For the last week I had labored tirelessly on putting together my official web-site. I am out of energy, but so elated, that I am finally done. I am still in search of a couple of good songs to add to my sites (yes, sites
there is one for weddings/engagements and one for all other photography sessions: family portraits, seniors, babies, anything you can imagine. But both sites are going to be housed under same site name, so you would not have to remember two of them
)
Here is the address (click on the link): Elena Photographers.

I spent most of the day taking care of business, after yesterday’s car accident: getting estimates on repairs, talking to different adjusters, etc. I was tired by the time Demetrye got home. Seeing me in the state that I was, he, being tired himself after a hard day at work, decided that he was going to make dinner. He made sure I was comfortable sitting on the couch, while walking him through how to make pizza dough. Needless to say, it came out fantastic. I helped a little: spread sauce over pizza, shredded (vegan) cheese, and tossed pineapples on top of my pie. It was a beauty to behold, our taste buds agreed as they were performing a happy dance. Check it out.
Feels so good to be taken care of today…

Today has been one of those days for me. I woke up tired, got ready to go to work. On the way to work got rear-ended… What a way to start a week…. I had to go to the police station to file a report, than ended up with a back pain and a headache, so I had to leave work WAY early. I also had a dental appointment and was told that I need a crown placed on one of my teeth… Sheesh… I really could use something to brighten up my day. And here is little something that did. Check it out (Sarah posted it on OSP)
