Family Session, Twilight Style-Longview WA Photography
Posted on October 2, 2009
Good morning, dear Readers. As you are clicking to view this post Demetrye and I will be at the airport awaiting our departure to the sunny Hawaii. We are taking a well deserved break to spend time with each other, bathe in the sun, and do absolutely NOTHING, except for relaxing, eating and relaxing some more.
So, why did I schedule this post to pop up while I am not even sitting at my computer? There is a reason for it… and it is a secret… at least from my hubby.
The night before last he made me promise that I would do no more work before we take off on vacation… and I told him that I would try [that’s the key word here: try]. Well, inside I knew that I wanted for my clients, from the latest shoot I did, to see at least a couple of images from their session. I did not want to punish them by making them wait while I was relaxing in the sun. As my luck would have it, Demetrye decided that he needed to take some files back to his office, which gave me a few minutes ALONE
So, I took advantage of it. But Demetrye does not know… and neither will he [right?
] since we will not be near a computer during our vacation
.
I met Brianna and Jon through another client of mine, Tiffany. The two work together. The moment I saw them enter the Fusion café, where we met during their lunch, I thought: “Boy, I would like to photograph them!” Much to my pleasure they headed for my table—they were the people I was expecting.
Brianna is a fan of the Twilight series and she and Jon wanted to reenact the Baseball scene for their session. I found it very fascinating and was up to the challenge. When we finally met on the abandoned baseball field in Toutle, WA, I had so much fun photographing Brianna and Jon’s family that the time seemed to have slipped away from us. Once I get back from my vacation I will post a few of my favorite “Twilight” images, but for now, here is a quick and sweet preview of the gorgeous family.
We started off with cute M* warming us all up. She really shined and was a natural in front of the camera.

Next up was my new favorite guy, Mr. L*. I don’t think I heard him speak even one word during the whole shoot—he was being shy. However, after I made funny faces and noises he could not help himself but give me the best, the warmest and the cutest smiles there are.
Here is the gorgeous family. Are they super cute or what? I could see this image blown on a huge canvas hanging over a living room sofa any time of the day.
Although it was a family shoot we were able to steal a few moments away with Brianna and Jon. They seem to be so much in love that it really shows in this image. [And now you know where the cute kiddos got their looks from
].
There will be more images to come when I am back.
Jon & Brianna, thank you for allowing me to spend time with your beautiful family!
If you work with Jon or Brianna, and you want to have your own special experience in front of the camera, stay tuned as I will announce how you can get in on a limited time special offer that will be made available only to you.
