In the last week all 4 graduated from high school and are standing poised to face their future.

Two days ago I got to see Zarina turn over her tassle. What a proud moment for all of us… for all of them!

With only a few weeks before graduation I had enjoyed staying pretty busy with amazing seniors.  My last session, right before taking off for vacation was with an R A Long Senior, Irina.  I posted a little teaser earlier, and finally had time to finish off our amazing session together.

The session preview you are about to see had been in planning for several months.  Irina, R A Long {Longview, WA} senior, had a fall session with me and wanted to follow up with a second session, closer to her graduation.  We planned all of the details, even hoping for a certain kind of weather.  I can tell you that the weather did not do what we wanted it to, but the rest turned out fabulous and neither of us had any regrets.

A few days prior to the session I visited Irina’s house and rummaged through her closet–it is one of the services I offer to my clients… no, not the rummaging part, but helping them  coordinate their clothes for the session and consult them on how to apply their make up.  A few tips and tricks and a few outfits later we had a movie star in the making.

Fabulous!  Simply fabulous, that is how I feel about the session and my gorgeous senior muse.  Clients like her are the reason I love photography!

Irina, there are no limits to what you can accomplish in your life and with your life as long as you put no limits on yourself.  Dream BIG!  Achieve much!  May God always be the beacon in your life!

I don’t know why and how, but I always end up with the most beautiful clients—inside and out. Last week was no exception. Alexis was my last minute booking for a Saturday session. We did not even get to meet until she stepped out of her car, ready to go.

She was gorgeous, but at the same time she exuded quite internal beauty. A serious look, although quite doable for her did not really belong on her face. She was born to smile! When she did it felt like being caressed by a gentle breeze in the midst of unpredictable Washington weather.

We weathered the rain…

I loved the overcase skies, and it seems that the skies loved Alexis

Then we took off to the Willow Grove beach to trash Alexis’ prom dress… or should I say we celebrated it and gave it a worthy farewell?!

 As fun as the next few images look, I can tell you–the water was FREEZING! How do I know that?  I got into it along with Alexis!

The whole session was amazing, but this image is my absolute favorite!  The sun came out for a SPLIT second and Alexis had fun.  It makes me want to blow up this image to the largest size possible. 

I heard that Alexis is having her wisdom teeth pulled today.  I hope that when she gets back home and sees these images they will brighten up her day a little.

Alexis, get well! I can’t wait to show you the rest of your images. It was really hard not to post all of them.

Alexa is a Mark Morris High School Senior of 2010. 

Alexa… the name alone makes me think of someone spectacular.  And that she is—all around smart, talented, beautiful and fun.  She did not skip a beat during our freezing, rainy session.  No, you won’t be able to tell the weather from these images—that is why Alexa is so great—she weathered it all! (I think I just said weather/ed too many times .)
