I am still full of energy after our vacation and my artistic juices are flowing like crazy. Today I finished Jon and Brianna’s session and I could not be happier with the results: beautiful family=beautiful images, actually breathtaking. But, as usual, I will let you be your own judge.
So, without further due, here is a great sample of gorgeous family photography in Cowlitz County. WARNING: IMAGE OVERLOAD!!!
This is one of my most favorite images from the session of Brianna and Jon, although I cannot say that I did not like even one image–they were all awesome!
WARNING: SIZZLING COUPLE! Jon had his smooth moves on…
They look amazing together.
Having looked at them you now know where the kids get their gorgeous looks.
Jon, Brianna, M* and L*, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day and enjoy your company. You are fabulous!
Now, as to my promise from my sneak preview post of Jon and Brianna’s session: I have not forgotten about it! If you are working with either Jon or Brianna you will have a one time offer… but I will post it by the end of the week. Trust me that it will be worth to come back for!

Good morning, dear Readers. As you are clicking to view this post Demetrye and I will be at the airport awaiting our departure to the sunny Hawaii. We are taking a well deserved break to spend time with each other, bathe in the sun, and do absolutely NOTHING, except for relaxing, eating and relaxing some more.
So, why did I schedule this post to pop up while I am not even sitting at my computer? There is a reason for it… and it is a secret… at least from my hubby.
The night before last he made me promise that I would do no more work before we take off on vacation… and I told him that I would try [that’s the key word here: try]. Well, inside I knew that I wanted for my clients, from the latest shoot I did, to see at least a couple of images from their session. I did not want to punish them by making them wait while I was relaxing in the sun. As my luck would have it, Demetrye decided that he needed to take some files back to his office, which gave me a few minutes ALONE
So, I took advantage of it. But Demetrye does not know… and neither will he [right?
] since we will not be near a computer during our vacation
.
I met Brianna and Jon through another client of mine, Tiffany. The two work together. The moment I saw them enter the Fusion café, where we met during their lunch, I thought: “Boy, I would like to photograph them!” Much to my pleasure they headed for my table—they were the people I was expecting.
Brianna is a fan of the Twilight series and she and Jon wanted to reenact the Baseball scene for their session. I found it very fascinating and was up to the challenge. When we finally met on the abandoned baseball field in Toutle, WA, I had so much fun photographing Brianna and Jon’s family that the time seemed to have slipped away from us. Once I get back from my vacation I will post a few of my favorite “Twilight” images, but for now, here is a quick and sweet preview of the gorgeous family.
We started off with cute M* warming us all up. She really shined and was a natural in front of the camera.

Next up was my new favorite guy, Mr. L*. I don’t think I heard him speak even one word during the whole shoot—he was being shy. However, after I made funny faces and noises he could not help himself but give me the best, the warmest and the cutest smiles there are.
Here is the gorgeous family. Are they super cute or what? I could see this image blown on a huge canvas hanging over a living room sofa any time of the day.
Although it was a family shoot we were able to steal a few moments away with Brianna and Jon. They seem to be so much in love that it really shows in this image. [And now you know where the cute kiddos got their looks from
].
There will be more images to come when I am back.
Jon & Brianna, thank you for allowing me to spend time with your beautiful family!
If you work with Jon or Brianna, and you want to have your own special experience in front of the camera, stay tuned as I will announce how you can get in on a limited time special offer that will be made available only to you.

My little niece M* has just turned one (last week). I cannot believe how the time has flown!
I took my camera to her b-day party with me, thinking that I would snap a few shots, here and there, but here face was so adorable and she is way too cute… so, I finally forced myself to get down to 40+ favorite image (lucky parents
). Here are only a few of them. But remember, it’s all about the face
Grandma knitted a special little hat…
…and baby M* seemed so thrilled with it
Here is another beautiful niece of mine–Kristina. It seems that it was only yesterday I was there when she was born (sigh).
Oh, and the drool.
Unlike many other kids, M* was not too thrilled to have her hands stuck in the cake. She was quite disgusted by it… I think
She was much happier when the cake was removed and her little shiny face was restored to its glory.
We barely had a moment to steal away for Mom and Daughter pictures. M* had enough patience for only two.
And then it was all about presents, although M* seemed to enjoy her cute little fingers so much more than anything else.
And then back to the cute faces…
And here is yet another beautiful niece of mine–Oksana. I actually do remember her as a baby also–I changed not one but many diapers for this girl
She is stunning.
Luba & Jason, thank you for having us over. Your kid is absolutely delightful, and we are so happy for you.

My computer is here! And SHE is fabulous! I decided to name her Freida. I am not sure why yet, but it sounds fierce enough to match what I have in mind for her. Call me crazy, but this girl and I are going to do some bonding in the next few days.
I was so excited to have received her! I spent a few hours installing programs that I need and running updates on her, and I am almost done. Just to show you how great Freida is, I spent only few minutes and pulled out great images from my niece’s recent wedding of one of my absolute favorite families–Eddie and Anna’s. Demetrye and I both love them to pieces. They are amazing and their kids are a pure joy. Anytime we get a chance to visit with them when we are in Vancouver, WA, we take advantage of it.
Here they are their little kiddos. Aren’t they super beautiful? The super-cute trio with their Grandma–my sister Vera. It still feels absolutely odd to realize that some of my siblings are grandparents.
Anna’s sister, Vera, has an adorable little girl also. When she saw me taking pictures of Anna’s family, she ran up and just stood there watching. She was too adorable to pass by.
Well, folks, have a great remainder of the day. Freida and I are going to get better acquainted… and I will try to get some things done around the house too
Until next time: Live every moment to the fullest!
